 URGENT CALL FOR JUSTICE FOLLOWING BRUTAL ASSAULT IN OBITUGBO KOKO, DELTA STATE​FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE​

 A call for immediate intervention has been issued following a violent and unprovoked attack on a local businesswoman in the Obitugbo community, Koko, Delta State. 

The victim, who was managing her small business to provide for her livelihood, was subjected to a brutal physical assault and witnessed the systematic destruction of her shop and goods.​

This incident has left the victim physically injured and emotionally shattered, while simultaneously stripping her of her only source of financial independence. 

The destruction of her property is not merely a financial loss; it is an act of extreme violence that threatens the safety and stability of honest, hardworking citizens in our community.​"This was not just an attack on a shop; it was an attack on her dignity, her peace, and her future," stated.​

We are calling on:​The Nigeria Police Force to launch an immediate and transparent investigation into this incident.​Human Rights advocates to stand with us in ensuring that the perpetrators of this violence are held fully accountable under the law.​

The public and media to help amplify this cry for justice to ensure this act of impunity does not go unnoticed.​We refuse to remain silent in the face of such brutality.
